Synopsis:
A dark cloud has descended on Buenos Aires, where it has been raining for 1600 days. In a modernised world where time hastens forward, traffic and the city masses move backwards, unaware they are regressing within a corrupted system that is the cause of their social woes.

Amidst this frenzy, an eclectic group of actors struggles to save thier theatre from being torn down and replaced with a shopping mall. They are led by Max, an established director who has sacrificed his family for his love of the theatre and, year later, is confronted by the daughter he left behind. Enrique, the septuagenarian playwright and poet, sells his belongings in order to subsist when his government pension is cut off. The stunning Fulo struggles to succeed as an actress, which is the only way she can bring her daughter from Rio de Janeiro.

The theatre is, in fact, a metaphor for their lives. Caught in between passion and helplessness, this group resists, refusing to sell out which demonstrate the irrevocable link of culture to society, art and life.
