A group of male teachers cross the mountainous paths of the remoteIranian Kurdistan region. Carrying large blackboards on their backs，they wander from village to village in search of students. Theirpersistence is greeted only by slamming doors and windows anduninterested boys who are too busy transporting goods between Iran andIraq. The sudden menacing sound of overhead helicopters forces the mento run and seek refuge from an unseen enemy.
