All is well... until Jack wakes up Christmas morning in the bedroom of a tract house of a New Jersey suburb, lying next to his college sweetheart that he hasn't seen since their break-up a decade ago. When her two kids and a pet great dane enter the room, a panic stricken Jack leaps out of bed and into the family mini-van -- promptly heading back to New York only to discover that his former single high-life no longer exists. No penthouse apartment, no Bentley, no corner office.

For Jack Campbell, there's no way to go but back to the family. From here on, it will be up to him to figure out why he's ended up this alternate suburban universe, and how to get back to the life that he thought he loved. Just when he believes that he's finally found the answer and able to return to his hustling Manhattan lifestyle, he's left to contemplate what he's missed back in New Jersey and what in life is truly important.
